Gear Oil For 2011 F250

I'm going to change the gear oil in my 2011 F250 that has an electronic differential lock. Will this do the job or do I need something with a friction modifier? It calls for a Motocraft synthetic oil but I have no idea if it has a friction modifier in it or not.

  • An electric locking dif does not not need an additive, since there are no clutches.
I'm not sure what weight fluid it calls for, but Lucas is good dif oil.
