our gen set sits in the back of the truck with a 1/2" cable locking it down and a 1/2" master keyed master lock....the lock itself weighs almost a pound...cutters aren't getting through very easy. I have a 30' cord attached to the trailer and I carry another 45' #8 wire extension cord with me.
I have also noticed that when we camp in a national park...the people around us get to know us...I go over and talk to them, ask them different questions and such... have never had a problem. When we leave we walk over and as if they are going to be here and if they are watch our site if they could.....made lots of friends and had some over that night for drinks and such....cuts down on the looky loos and you make friends at the same time...cause isn't that the reason we do what we do??? I mean, we all have something in common....
