Once upon a time I had a custom platform welded to the back of my RV.
It was a fantastic set up.
But beware it did effect my tongue weight. I had a full framed very stout 11k GVW trailer.
This is not for every trailer . However it can be done. I had this set up for about 5 years and it worked great
