The smaller gas tank is a shortcoming of the Champion. However, you can get the same genset in a dual fuel configuration. A BBQ sized propane tank will run it for over 20 hours at full load. And it's still over $1000 less than the Honda. I've had both the Honda EU3000IS and the Champion 3100/2800. I'll stick with the Champion, thank you.
