Geocaching / travel bugs

Have any of you put a travel bug on your trailer? I'm curious, did you put it on the back (for when driving) or on the front, (for when camped)?

  • Our kids now insist that we have tracking on when we leave home in our RV. We used to make then call in when they were on dates. We also have to carry ID's and emergency number in the coach when traveling. We don't worry too much about being caught where we shouldn't be any more. Most of our family know that is the best place to look for us.
  • I do GEO caching all the time and have a few travel bugs out there but the goal is to have them in a spot were folks can fine them and then move them to another hidden cache, if you keep moving you will not be able to find them. i guess you could make it a moving virtual bug to guess were it is but normally they have latitude and longitudes to help find them. They are not really tracked like in GPS they are tracked as a person finds them they go to a sight and log that they found it and have it and will move it to a new cache and so on. Mine have travel all across the USA and Canada its a great thing for Scouts and class rooms to do and follow.
