Getting around
As a spin off from another thread, I thought I'd start a new one on how us TC'ers get around once we have set up camp. Some drop the camper off and drive the truck, others pack up and head to do sigh...

Like you, I use get around vehicles, whether backcountry skis, mountain bikes, Kayaks, or motorcycles. Having these, at my disposal, only extends the range of my Truck Camper and enjoyment.
Even though I fulltime in my Truck Camper, there are about 10 to 12 nights/days a year that I am off backpacking and bike camping. The below picture is one of these times as I was spending a few nights out exploring Idaho, on my 08 BMW GS1200R Adventure
This is a picture of my 12 BMW GS1200R Adventure exploring many of the backcountry roads in Death Valley, last month.
This is my 06 Honda CRFX450, prior to converting to street legal, that I use for more extreme desert and mountain backcountry road travel. I used this bike considerably in Death Valley last month. This bike is geared for low speed, high traction, so it is very limited on the street, even while licensed and insured.
Whatever you might choose, find something that fits your needs and ability.
