Where to get an annual inspection
I fear this, going in for an annual inspection. My camper is fairly new, but I’m finding things that indicate a low quality build, that don’t seem to have been assembled right, or that have already shaken loose in the first few thousand miles.
I thought I’d get another couple things fixed/adjusted, then take it in for an annual inspection just to check the trailer out.
What I’d like to avoid most is a breakdown on the road. Somewhere.
I know Good Sam is connected, but when I called a large camper sales/repair company, they 1st asked if I bought my camper there. I said no. Then they said they had a 2 month wait list.
My concern is that if I make an appointment for something like an annual inspection, with repair of something if they find something, then I’d show up, the camper would sit for an extended time, me waiting at a nearby hotel, the bills mounting…
Maybe my fears are unfounded. I’m new at this.
But I thought This collective group may have some wisdom on this.
