Just use wood blocks. Even if you lay the cinder block the right way, the weight shifting on it, or the uneven ground underneath, could cause it to shatter with the same results as if the jack collapsed.
I regularly use a stack of 3X 2x6 planks under my jacks to get the camper on and off. Works fine.
