MikeUp, what is the motivation for the new truck? Your F150 with the 5.0 Coyote is a nice rig and is well matched to your trailer.
For the price of a couple of payments you can set yourself up with some Bilsteins and perhaps even throw in a new set of wheels to freshen things up a bit with your current rig. Then maybe commit the next payment or two to financing an extra camping trip. ;)
Good luck,

I already have Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires.
While my mileage isn't real high, it's getting up there and I'd like to trade it in while the dealer is still willing to give me a decent price for it.
I've been looking at new F150s and Ford is encouraging dealers to option their trucks with anti-towing axle ratios and little 23 gallon gas tanks. They've also raised prices about $5000 over the last generation F150.
So the trucks now are overpriced, glorified grocery getters. I am having a hard time finding a decent truck equipped for towing, for a decent price, that's not loaded with fluff and expensive toys I don't want or need. Plus adding to the overpricing on the MSRP side of things, they are not offering any decent rebates, even on 2015s. The most I've seen for a year leftover '15 is $4500. Previously on the last generation, the rebates were around $7200 for year end models.
Actually the new F150s are considerably more costly than a F250 with the same options. Add the HD payload and/or Max tow packages, Tow mirrors and brake controller, and the F150 is thousands more expensive than a similarly optioned F250.
I really like the F250 much more than the F150, but obviously makes no difference if I can't afford to drive the F250.
