A responsible person who is using this forum with an open mind to help determine the capibilities of their current TV, or if their desired TT requires something different doesn't need to be cut any breaks.
There are people who do however, with statements such as "You should be OK" or rant at the so called weight police and proclaim that the poster can do anything they want to. They will also say that adding air bags is a solution to those who obviously have an 8000 lb dry weight TT on order with a 6 year old F150 to tow it with.
Are those the types of breaks you are talking about? :h
It's not abusive to tell someone the truth - espicially when they come to this forum seeking answers. If they don't like the answers they get here, then perhaps they shoould visit the forum talked about in the post above.
If you believe TT or TV salesman have any knowlege of the product they are selling, then you don't need a break - you need something way different. The only number a salesman can calculate is commission percentage.
