The US Manufacturers steadfastly refuse to accept there is a market for Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles and do not design the majority of the product accordingly. They seem to think that folks in countries that drive on the left will accept the steering wheel on the "other" side.
Consequently it would be a nightmare to redesign them to accept right hand steering. Not all countries are like OZ that MANDATE RHD.
GM MAY have RHD Camaros and even Caddy CTSs available in the near future but that will be a very limited market.
This from a guy who appreciated the mirror image design of the original Mini and converted a LHD one to RHD in four hours. Needed a new steering rack and gas pedal. Everything else (steering column, heater, pedals, master cylinders etc ) all flipped over the opposite way round.
