My guess is that if Ford or anyone else made a girly man looking truck like the global whatever they wouldn't sell well in the US. The manufacturers know who butters their bread.
No sell US Pickups Globally surely there would be a huge demand, because as Arnold would say they are not "Girly Man"
Consequently it would be a nightmare to redesign them to accept right hand steering. Not all countries are like OZ that MANDATE RHD.
GM MAY have RHD Camaros and even Caddy CTSs available in the near future but that will be a very limited market.
This from a guy who appreciated the mirror image design of the original Mini and converted a LHD one to RHD in four hours. Needed a new steering rack and gas pedal. Everything else (steering column, heater, pedals, master cylinders etc ) all flipped over the opposite way round.
A Spokesperson from FCA said they could easily do RHD versions, but at this point had not tried. Ford did the same with the F250 in the late 1990's, but they did not sell well as the demand at that stage was not there. Same head scratching about selling LHD Corvettes in the UK and wonder why they are not selling:R
