Not that I owe you an explanation because you can actually skip reading the topic if it's does not meet your fine taste and lofty standards but here is the lowdown.

I ordered a Cybertruck for which I am not a fan of the looks but I like the price, specs, range and performance.

I like the looks of GM and Ford traditional pick up. And if their EV can match Cybertruck's price and performance wise, I can consider buying one instead.

Yeah, but reading experts on truck and EV-battery experts on cars, motors, trucks, etc., they are skeptical of this GM press release, calling it vaporware. Some even mocking their good theory but exponentially dangerous new battery technology.
