Yes, this is always a good idea especially when you are running close to the end of your warranty.
Fortunately I have complete faith in my dealer. We were neighbors for 19 years, his son and I have been spotters for each other at the gym for nearly 25 years and my nephew works for them. When they hired a new service manager I was introduced to him and he was told "if he asks for a steak, go get him a steak".
I was just curious if anyone else ever had leak issues. I'm hoping it does end up being the filter. I will certainly update after it goes back in next week.
