I work on 2011-2014 Tahoe Police vehicles and I have seen quite a few of them that are leaking from around the oil filter. The oil pan surrounds about half of the filter making it difficult if not impossible to hand tighten. A lot of our Vehicles are taken to a national oil change place and these are the ones that come in leaking. Unfortunately to get them tight enough one must use the oil filter wrench, which is opposite of what is taught and what is written on the oil filter box. Your 6.0L may have the same type of pan.
