GM 6.0 oil leak

Not a 6.0 but a 5.3, I have a '08 impala SS, while under extended warranty I had the dealer do all the service,Since day one I always had a small leak that left three or four drops of oil under the car and before the warranty expired I took it in for the leak,, said they could not find a leak but cleaned it off and to bring it back in a week,,(must have put the dye in). Went back in and they said it was the oil drain plug gasket and gave me one to take home,(told them I was going to do my own service), Changed the oil and found that the filter was barely tight,, I mean I really didn't have to put any force on it to spin it off!
I put a new filter on and used the filter wrench to give it 3/4 to 1 full turn after hand tight!

Has not leaked since!, I only have 35,000 on it and will do the same again at next service..
