My concern with electric vehicles is how they will perform in the cold. We are five miles from Canada in northern NY State. It's not uncommon for us to see -20F in the winter, with days that it doesn't warm up to 0F.
In that kind of weather, you quickly learn when you need a new starting battery! I am assuming the ranges they are estimating is for a vehicle with new batteries? What happens a couple years down the road?
