Thousands of electricians, masons, landscapers, carpenters, farmers, commuters, use their trucks for thirty forty miles a day. Florists, bakeries ,Diaper services,also operate locally.
I can gauranranfrickentee you that the people who use trucks for long distance hauling are the tiny minority of truck owners.
Other than vacation use,very few trucks ever would run up against the battery limit.
