Not sure what the Fanboy comment is for. All vehicles have corrosion problems sooner or later in the rust belt.
Al I can say is that my 2001 Chevy 3500DRW D/A never had any corrosion issues in the 10 years that I had it... But any brand would've fared the same as I am in Phoenix AZ... Not sure if that makes me a "fanboy" or not.
I say that because there are is a certain segment out there that quickly comes to the defense of any criticism levied. A quick google search shows that rusted/rotted brakes lines has been a big issue with the 2001 and up GM trucks. Don't see anywhere's near the same number of complaints on the competition for these same years. How much salt is dumped on your roads in Phoenix?
