Wow $40 at GM parts Direct, I get all my dealer-only parts there, i.e., anything I can't get at Rock Auto. I probably would have got this kit if it had been out when I did mine last year, and sprayed the lines with something protective before installing them. Classic does give you the rear crossover tube in the kit.
What's the dealer want in labor to install?
I will know something before the end of the day. From what I have read, the price tag should be around $500 for the kit install. Which is fine, the ABS modulator will need to be bled properly and possibly the master cylinder, I am unsure if it ran dry, i did put a pint in it when i got home with the hopes it wouldn't leak dry.
I am also going to have them do the crossover tube and new lines to the calipers. I also have them looking at the fuel lines and cooler, may as well get in front of that before it gets out of hand.
