gm extended warranty best place to buy

My last post lead to this question. By best place I mean the cheapest with a true gm warranty. I have never bought a extended warranty before, so if I do I want to make sure I can take my duramax to any GM dealer and get real coverage. I have 35k on mine and drive few miles. So I am looking for the longest term possible if I go this direction.
Of course the plan would need to cover the fuel pump and that 10k repair everyone is talking about.

So what you are all saying is, there is no way to get the same coverage that you have when new.

Most dealers use 3rd parties, a popular one is Portfolio look them up and read the horror stories. Like mentioned, above your better off saving your cash.

Extended warranties cover everything that does not break.

It is generally accepted that extended warranties are not worth the cost.
Take that same amount of money and put it into a savings account or CD and you likely will be money ahead in the end.

The only way to be sure you have a real GM backed warranty is to get it through a dealer.....and even then you have to be VERY specific as they handle third party junk too.
