The rest of the world runs on diesels of all different sizes. Even outboard motors and lawn mowers. The US is slow to get with the program. A 1/2 ton diesel is a great idea for towing rigs that aren't too heavy. I will probably end up there sometime in the future. For now I am sticking with the one ton 7.3.
