Hmmm, I pulled a 9K 27' fiver with my 2500HD D'max and ALWAYS got between 12 and 13mpgs. Not sure I'm much impressed with 9!!

True for sure, I think the benefit would be a smaller camper. His towing was through the mountains from the north to Florida so I’m thinking they may affect it as well.
