We have an 05 chev duramax with 114K miles and still feel I am driving a new truck. We could drive a new truck but why?

Of all the mid 2000s diesel pickups, the GM is on par or maybe preferable and the drivetrain is the best hands down total package.
Your LLy I think you can program in a turbo brake as well.
