This sums it up for me too Ben.
Since I started work at the Ford dealer back in fall of 1967 and retired a year ago from same Ford dealer, I have some loyalties.
I also know a lot of the really cr^p stuff Ford did also.

Because I had 2 detours away from Ford over my years I also bought a new Pontiac and 2 new Hondas over the years.

I really try to not come on here and knock anyones ride, but when I see someone knocking Ford (with bad info or facts or understanding IMO) I get this overwhelming urge to explain...:W

When they (Ford) have it coming I will not defend or even comment in most instances.
I have a unique perspective in that the owner of Ford store used to have GM dealership in our town but GM downsized to a single dealer. So he bought GM full line dealership 2 hrs away. Several of his ex GM-local guys ended up at Ford store before he bought it about 5 years ago. So I have the inside GM stuff old and current.
Also the general manager of Ford store was service manager at local Dodge-Jeep for over 10 years so I know a lot of that dirt to... :W
But I don't think you will find I use that info to attack the other brands at all.

Enjoy your ride folks, speak well of it, engage in the casual fun discussions.
But no need to get upset, angry, or confrontational over a ...truck?
