I do care that enough of 'my' model sells so that I'll have a parts supply for
decades and at the prices that goes with volume
Personal preference:
The new trucks are ridiculously expensive and too tall for no good reason other
than to appease the fashion statement crowd
The highly desired OEM 20's were laughable a decade ago as low rider stuff. Is
dangle balls around the corner?
I like my trucks to look like trucks, IMHO, but the younger crowd drives the
above fashion statement stuff... :(
PS...another laughable thing is that the Blue Oval sales are lumped
into one 'F series', while GM's is separated into several rows...if
you add all of those rows up...the sum usually surpasses or is neck
and neck with the others...
Guess the Blue Oval can then have Mercury's sales numbers added to up
it some more...
Again, really don't care what others drive...just that what I own has
enough sales to keep my parts availability and pricing going
I agree with the 20's comment. If it is a strictly pavement pounder I have seen some with 20's that look good but very few (and I am not talking lifted) but really 20's for any off road use and you are replacing wheels. Give me 17's or 16's all day long for real use.
