Help with what exactly? The way I look at it, if you own one (either 2500 or 3500) then you know what you have. Who cares if anyone else knows.
Mike - larry_barnhartExplorerThe only one that needs to know spent the money to find out.

Does that picture really say that the DRW is less expensive than the SRW? That's crazy.
Wow, it does. That is weird. I took the screen shot myself from http://www.gmc.com/previous-year/sierra-3500-denali-hd-pickup-truck/build-and-price.html#/config. - Me_AgainExplorer IIIHigh Country models seem to be lacking the 2500HD or 3500 badges!

With Denali HD's and their ambiguous emblems, all single rear wheels are 2500's and all dual rear wheels are 3500's.jshupe wrote:

Am I missing something???? How does one tell if a new GM pickup is a 2500HD or a 3500 SRW??
Or is it that so many people towed over the limits with 2500HD they just removed the badges?
Am I not looking at the right place on these vehicles?
Chris
Unless you're asking about Denali HDs, which I think all say "Denali HD" on them instead if "X500 HD", then you're looking at the wrong vehicles. A lot of people, myself included, debadge so that fewer questions are asked.
Wouldn't your HD2500 badges help you? Or do you think some people might think you have a 1500 with that rig?
Not the case.
Thank you... I did not know that. - n0arpExplorer

If you really need to know just count the rear leafs. 3500 will have one extra making it the far superior tow monster truck. Or you could check the registration where the real difference lays.

I actually pulled mine off because I was going to get some custom billet ones made. I tried to arrange a group buy on Kelderman logos (for Kelderman Air Ride users on DuramaxForum.com) but it fell through when the final cost came in too high. And for a single run they wanted $300 per vehicle, so I said no and currently run without emblems. I doubt anybody is going to mistake my truck for a half ton.
