If so, why ?

Do you see boogeymen in the backyard at night? I just wanted to freakin know how many cars by maker have been recalled this year. I don't give a flying flip about GM.

I think you're on to something there Ron.

My theory is that they're trading in their recalled car and hoping thru blind loyalty that the new one won't get recalled.

Of the 54 models GM makes/made only 3 have not been recalled.

Odd thing is, GM sales (overall) are up over last year at this time. One theory is GM's proactive approach on all the recalls has boosted confidence with consumers who feel GM is not taking chances and is more concerned about safety than the other mfg's. Interesting result.
