This is just ridiculous! BK is way better than McD`s. at least I don`t feel sick after BK!
And to top it off I get to drive away in a Ford and log in here as Dodge Guy! :B
As you might expect from the guy driving the 3rd place truck... I prefer Wendy's over McDonalds and Burger King... - tinner12002ExplorerI could have gotten the GM discount before my purchase. I preferred to have a proven engine design/performance so that's why Cummins was my choice.

Boshog....Hate to tell you I have been shopping 1 ton dually and they are all within a few thousand of each other, not sure how you got the perception that ford is that much more.
Should have clarified, I was speaking about the high MSRPs of the F150s, I looked at some that passed the $70K mark. A while back, Ford put a $10K incentive on higher content F150s to help dealers move them.
My RAM3500 Longhorn had a 70K MSRP and that was shocking, I never expected to see a half ton up that high.
I haven't looked at 1/2 tons in a while, but I guess it would be the same shock I had when someone I work with told me they paid $45k for a mini van! Im not that old, actually 48, but some of this pricing is making me sound like my father. Im preparing to pay as much for a truck as my first house.
I paid $10,000 for my first house. We bought a new car a couple years after that and we felt really stupid because it was double what we paid for the house. LOL I said I will never buy another vehicle worth more than my house. Just to be safe we now live in a house that is worth $300,000 so I think we are safe for a while......HAHAHA!! - 1jeepExplorer II

The two worst topics on here. Trucks and weights. I always get a kick out of my trucks better than yours arguments. Neither one had anything to do with building it. Someone else built it and yet the owners think it's better than someone else's. I never could figure out why someone is so proud of something they didn't make themselves. It's like going to McDonalds and getting a hamburger and telling the guy that goes to Burger King that mine is better.

I did not make that statement to say anything about Ford but I see all the Ford haters took it that way. To me its like combining VW, Audi, and Porsche to beat another brand. :S
Passive aggressive much? :B - AJBertExplorerCalm down, folks! Its just a forum to learn/share/exchange, nothing more, nothing less.

Talking about blowing something out of proportion I would say you are the KING here. You have no idea what I think or can wrap my head around. I made a simple statement. Not about Ford being beat in sales as I could care less who sells what or how much they sell. Get a life and get off that high horse you seem to think you ride. No need for the personnel attacks you seem so good at.Bird Freak wrote:

Why would they not take it that way? It is the way you meant it. I don't get why you cant wrap your head around this GMC trucks + Chevy trucks = GM trucks. Pretty simple. If customer A buys a GMC and Customer B buys a Chevy the money goes to General Motors. Pretty simple concept. The trucks are the same minus minor visual differences. However even if they were radically different, it would not matter, the number of vehicles sold under the GM umbrella goes to GM. Should GM create another line of pickups under Hummer or some other line, the sales would be credited to GM truck numbers.
Just for the record, I am not a Ford hater or a Ram hater, I don't buy their products but I have nothing against them. You on the other hand have serious issues with not being able to deal with the fact that for THIS YEAR, GM out sold FORD in pickup trucks. Personally while it makes me happy to see that, I don't really care that much. Ford has outsold GM in pickup trucks in others years so pay back is.....what it is. So let it go. - ksssExplorer
