I think it looks a little cheesy just tacked below the bumper like that. I also thing the DuraBurb numbers are a little cheesy....what's the point of adding a beefier hitch if you still can't exceed 1000 on the tongue? So towing 17000 lbs with only 1000 on the tongue is only 5.8%...maybe a big boat, but not an RV that's for sure.
The only solution I can think of for heavier trailers is to load them rear-heavy to keep the tongue below 1000 lbs, then use a HA or PP hitch to manage sway.
