Going from an 06 F-350 to a 15 F-250

Have been happy with my current setup since 2006 lance 845 and 2006 F-350 Crew Cab 4X4 with 6.0 diesel. Well the time has come to say good bye to the 6.0, reliability issues are a concern. I have Rancho 9000 shocks and Firestone airbags and will be doing the same to the F-250. GVRW is 1400 less on the F-250. The F-350 has an extra leaf spring is all I can tell. I am leaning towards the cautious side and holding out for a F-350. Looking forward to hearing back from those that have experienced hauling with both. Thanks.
