In the morning, my wife discovered that since the furnace is usually already on, it works pretty darn good as a hair dryer. Being that the heater vents are about shoulder height, she just sits on the cab-over step and lets the furnace do the drying. She says her hair actually dries faster than with the dryer. Woo hoo! One less thing to lug around.
