- wrvondExplorer III once looked at a Jayco that had a rear living room. If you like Jayco, I'd start there.
The 31RLDS looks pretty nice. - JWRobertsExplorerI had a Denali 30RL for 10 years and just last month traded it for another Denali 326RL. Denali also has a 28 foot rear living unit. You and I are certainly in the minority when it comes to our preference of rear living units but it makes perfectly good sense. The best view from within a camper are nearly always out the rear.
Good luck with your search - TrailerTravele1ExplorerLance 2285? Not sure if you'd want the kitchen looking out the back, but alot of people seem to like this layout.
Lance 2285 - goducks10ExplorerJMO but on RL TT's that I've sat in that have the permanent installed end table between two recliners is not good. Some do it some don't. Problem is when you try and swivel around the recliners hit the end table. I've seen some that have that ugly convertor panel installed in them. Sometimes those invertors cycle on and off when charging the batteries. The fan can be a little noisy at times.
How big are you looking for? - DutchmenSportExplorerWe love our Outback 298RE (Keystone). Perfect for 2.people. Love the double slide rear livingroom.
- tshirtmanExplorerRear living is the best!! No kids so we do not need the extra beds although our Jayco 29rlds has a hid-a -bed for the extra guest.
- Houston_RemodelExplorerWe love our TT but when we are ready to trade it in we're going to get one with a slide in the bedroom.
- temccarthy1ExplorerWe love our 2014 Keystone Bullet 285 RLS..2 big easy chairs in the rear with a sofa and well appointed. 11 ft slide includes sofa and dinette and 3 ft diameter. Best feature is it is 30 ft long but only weighs 6000 with a 600 TW.. Pulls like a dream with an Equalizer E2 WD hitch! Check them out!. We have had ours 1 year and ZERO issues with it and any of the operating systems! I have seen nothing but positive reviews on Bullets on this forum!
- parcanyExplorerWe have a Jayco 33RLDS. 35 feet long with 1 slide on each side of the trailer in the back. Lots of room.. Living room is 14 feet wide and over 12 feet long.
- Golden_HVACExplorerIf you are enjoying the stability in high winds, and ability to control sway really well with the 2,000+ pound pin weight of a fifth wheel, you might not like the in-stability of a normal travel trailer.
However a Propride hitch can correct those shortcomings, and add stability to the travel trailer. Having a 3/4 ton diesel truck to tow it will also really help too!

Look at the video, and see that there are a bunch of welded pieces there, and worth what they are charging for it. Then click on the cost of the hitch. Consider that most 30' travel trailers are a little less expensive than the fifth wheels of the same length. . .

Good luck,
