Good Evening campers... How do you light up the night?

Love all the daytime activities that come with camping. But there is something about the night time, especially all the different lights people decorate their campers with. My lights are DIY interior LED lights. What kind of lights do you display?

You mean with all the posts coming from those that do not appreciate lights left on all night? ... yeah.

We don't do anything out of the ordinary... but we have learned that in certain areas of the country ( the SW being one) if you don't have lights on all night long underneath the rig... you've gonna have rodents chewing your wires. We like the LED rope lights.

Don't want to hijack the thread but thanks for reminding me. Ive read the threads about the rodent issue but haven't prepared for it yet. It will be our first year in Arizona. Do you have lights in the engine bay?

Sorry Ma'am, I feel pretty strongly the same way. To look at your picture though, it looks pretty cool in a spacy kind of way. :)

To edit, even backpacking tents from Big Agnes are coming with LEDs sown into the seams. They seem cool as well but I guess it's something else to catch your eye when star viewing. Minus bright white lights, the blue camper lights are much easier on the eyes and add a cool effect.
  • We carry a propane lantern, two LED lanterns and a couple of flashlights. Not all use at once but enough light for when needed. :)
  • I'm not very creative - I wear a headlamp so it puts the light where I need it and not anyplace else....LOL!

    I DO have a battery-operated candle for "ambiance" :-)
