I didn't see any thing to say "good grief" about. It seems to be working fine, and at the point the device is lifting the camper would be a strong enough spot. It is where the tie downs are tied in.
Seems to be working and looks to have been working for some time.
It seems to me Ive seen this video a number of times
I think its pretty cool and it looks like he's been using for years.
Maybe that's not what he uses to load the big huge 3-slide campers. :@ - cewillisExplorerA fine bit of engineering in the hands of a skilled operator.
Wonder what they think the electric jacks are for -- wtf. - ranholagoExplorerI didn't see any thing to say "good grief" about. It seems to be working fine, and at the point the device is lifting the camper would be a strong enough spot. It is where the tie downs are tied in.

- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIITo those who never tried any thing or invented anything to ease the load. We who have welcome the criticism all the way to the bank!
- notsobigjoeNomad IIILike Kayteg said. That's how they do it in boat yards. They had something similar where I bought my boat. I too am uncomfortable with the lifting part even though I had a stable lift for years. The stable lift went pretty much the whole way down the sides but the front and back still drooped.

I do question the weight capacity of the tires and wheels .
You can question it but for one thing it's only moving around the lot not going down the highway so a blowout is barely an inconvenience. From the looks of it this guy has been moving campers like this for DECADES and has never had a problem.
Those tires look to be 4.80-8 , hard to know for sure . If they are , and are C rated they equal 750# @ 90 psi . Most of the weight is on the two front tires for a total of 1500# . I realize it's not driving down the road at 65 mph but it's still less than half of many TC' s. That's the only reason I question them .
I don't know how you can tell the operator has decades of experience and has had no trouble from that video , I'm just not that good .
