I am a GS member and an officer in a local chapter. Whether you should join or not depends on what you would expect to get from it. Are you wanting discounts on camping and purchases? Are you wanting emergency road service? Or on the other hand are you looking to join a club that has benefits for its members?
We belong to the Good Sam Club with the emphasis on Club. We attend state Samborees and belong to a local chapter. The Samborees are fun and offer some great entertainment at least here in Ohio. We have made some great camping friends and had a wonderful time at events.
So it all depends on what you expect to get from your membership and do you choose to be a participant.
Im in the dayton area. Got an more info on ohio things? We are new to having a trailet.
