Goodyear Marathon Trailer Tires

I run GY Marathons, OEM tire on my previous and current TT. The only flats I had where on the previous TT with LRC 14" Marathon's. They where legit flats on some very rocky/nasty roads so I can hardly blame the tire.

They do wear quickly how I use the camper, lots of dirt. But are a good tire for me.

GY also released a service bulletin this spring that allows 10psi extra to be added to the tire and that raises the speed limit from 65 to 75, nice if you plan to drive that fast.

Just checked the Tire Rack website, it appears all sizes to be MFG'ed in China. Not sure how accurate that is or if it has been kept up.

Iirc, as of a couple of years ago, 16's were all made in China. 15's were still made in other locations, including USA. Supposedly QC was improved in the China plants so that the quality was more consistent. I seem to have noticed a decrease in "MIC" hate on the forum over the past several months, so maybe there are fewer problems. This is as I recall, and DW will tell you that's not always accurate, so its worth what you paid!

I use Goodyear Marathons and have for years. No problems to report.

Somewhere on tire there is a "tire plant code". Don't know if this list is up to date or not to answer your question about where tire is made. But a starting point.
