Got it home today - MORE PICS ADDED

I'm a very happy guy - it's my first new truck. It had 6 miles (10 Km) on the odometer when I drove it off the lot.

  • Nothin' like a new truck to brighten your day! Congrats on the new ride.

Oh BTW, payload as per the TIRE AND LOADING INFORMATION sticker is 3014#. GVWR is 10k, so that makes it weigh 6986# empty.

My same truck weighs about 7100 going through the scales with me and some gas and a couple fast food bags. Ironically, within 50# of what my 06 Duramax did. For calculating out tow weights it's pretty much identical except the Dmax had a 9200# GVWR and the Ram has 10K.

Btw.... nice color. That was the only other one I wanted aside from my granite crystal (charcoal).

Also, your wheels look slightly different than mine. Are those special order?

Isn't yours a 3500 SRW with a 10800# GVWR? Or maybe I'm thinking of "mowin".

The wheels are the standard 18" ones that come on the Laramie. I didn't want the 20s. Rubber is too pricey and I wanted more sidewall.
