Government shut down killing our vacation!!!!
Looks like our Shenendoah vacation might not happen ... We were headed to luray va to do the Skyline drive and then to Gettysburg!!!! Oh well

Many of the roads around and through the battlefield are state/county/city. Go! Enjoy! There may not be an interpretive ranger there and the visitor centers may be closed, but who cares? Enjoy that beautiful part of God's creation in Virginia as well!
