Government shut down killing our vacation!!!!
Looks like our Shenendoah vacation might not happen ... We were headed to luray va to do the Skyline drive and then to Gettysburg!!!! Oh well

The Arch and Old Courthouse in St. Louis are closed, locked up no admittance, but as I understand the grounds will still be open. Saw on the news this morning that campers in federal campgrounds have until 4:00 pm tomorrow to leave. I hope this don't last long, people that made arrangements ahead of time are going too have really messed up vacations. One of the local stations interviewed a couple that came from England to see the St. Louis Arch, they were very disappointed. I know people that work there that are very worried about their house payments, so it's not just vacationers, let's pray it ends soon.
