yes it is too much for your car. we are gettin gone this week and I did the research onit, which apparently you haven't. it is in the specs that it can tow 3700# in the 4 wheel drive mode. 4300# dry weight means no water or waste in the tanks and no propane in the tanks. you have to add in the weight of the people in the car or truck. you will be overweight by quite a bit. the v 8's can tow 7400#
