Just came upon this brand of TT. I see that they are part of Winnebago Industries but not much else. Anyone have any info on these? Own one or know someone? There is a dealer about 3 hrs aw...

Yes, it's absolutely worth it. If you purchase it you'll be so very, very, very glad you made the trip. If you decide against it, you'll have peace of mind knowing you didn't make a wrong choice. Either way, your heart will be satisfied.
About being 3 hours away, three hours is really nothing. Take the family with you, take all your personal financial information with you, go with an open mind, and plan on spending the entire day on this adventure.
Besides, once you get a camper, you more than likely will be driving MUCH farther than 3 hours to go to a destination point. Much farther! Consider the 3 hours one-way an investment. You won't go wrong by making the trip.
FYI, Grand Designs are a pretty good camper. They rank on the top of the line. But they cost more too!
