Have you put a clear fitting on the one you are worried about to see what is going on. You could put different food coloring in each tank to see what is draining
I opened the dump valve for the gray tank for the kitchen and closed everything else. I then filled the bathroom gray tank until the water was coming up out of the shower drain. Nothing came out of the back dump valve. So I would assume that the 2 gray tanks are not connected.
Then to dump the filled gray tank in the back, I had to open the 3" dump valve after I opened the 2" on the gray tank line. The black tank goes straight to the 3" valve.......so, in order to dump the back gray tank, the black tank will empty at the same time. Designed this way or a manufacturing screw up?
