That is correct. I wish I could draw it out and post it. Where you hook up the stinky slinky there is a 3" slide valve. Right now it is a straight shot to the black tank and that 3" valve is the only thing keeping the stuff in the black tank. The gray tank tees into this line on the toilet side of the 3" valve so when the gray valve is opened, it can go 2 ways.....back into the black tank or down to the 3" valve that is keeping the black tank in. So no matter what, when that 3" valve is opened....the black tank is dumping.
