All RVs come with a set of compromises. If you want large space, you require a large tow vehicle. Since you are using a Tacoma, I think a Casita would be perfect for your needs. We have attended over 2 dozen molded fiberglass rallies and the rig you are planning is very popular. We came to almost the same decision and have been very happy with our choices. We have camped from Oregon to Florida and half the state in between. No regrets.
