When we had a grill like yours we put it in a bag and left it in the outside kitchen. When we bought a larger grill we would leave it inside the door on the floor. After the first year I took it out for the winter as I did not want it to attract anything and it now rides in the back of the truck all the time. Do not think I would travel with a grill on the bumper.
