Thanks everyone for their replies and suggestions. I made it through the camping trip (4 days) and still had water in the tank. Sorry I don't know how much because it is a stainless steel one (I am hoping to replace that this winter. But anyhow I drained it on the way home due to having sand in the tank. When I got home I filled up the tank and went to the race track from Thursday through Sunday and did not hear any gurling while at the track. So I'm not really sure what the issue is/was but maybe I was running low on water in the tank and that was the problem. Once again thank you all for your help on this.
