The time to ask these questions (here or of the dealer) is past. Had you posted before you signed on the dotted line things would be different. Now you're stuck.
The good news is that despite the fact that it's likely much too heavy for your truck, you can probably tote the camper around O.K. for a little while, as long as you don't go too fast or too far. My BIL made a similar mistake, and his solution was to get one season out of it and then sell it. His other choice would've been to buy a bigger truck, which he didn't want to do.
And the next time, he did his research first!
