GVWR Exceded, Mechanical Issue?

Recently purchased a 2014 AF 996 at the recommendation of the AF Dealer. Was told by the dealer I would have no problems hauling the 996 with my 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab SRW, however, after reading online the last month or so various articles on GVWR, suspensions, do's and don'ts etc... I am not sure I should be hauling this TC. I've installed higher rated tires and rims (3750 lbs max), Helwig Sway Bar and stable lifts. My truck weighs 7800lbs with with a GVWR of 10100, front axle rating = 5200, rear axle=6200, the 996 weighs 4000 lbs (on sticker). The way I figure it, my truck's GVWR with the 996 is around 11800 lbs.
I called the dealer the other day and questioned his guidance on purchasing the 996, he stated I'll have no problems and has never heard anyone being ticketed with a TC for being over weight or mechanical issues from too heavy of a TC.
With this being said, should I worry about my truck failing on my scheduled trip in a few weeks?
