GVWR of 2002 Ram 3500
The GVWR of my 2002 Ram 3500, as shown on the driver's door pillar label, is 10500 lbs. The "Tire Inflation Pressures" document that came with the truck gives two GVWs for the Ram 3500, 10500 and 1100...

This comes up ever so often and the usual discussion
We on the outside of the Product Design Team will never truly know and just guesses
Someone took the time to answer one of my questions a few years ago in trying
to get folks to see this from 60,000 foot...
He posted that he found 14 or 15 different GVWR's for F150's of that year and assume
that all of the other OEM's likewise and not just the half ton class, but all
their other higher classes too
I think that the GVWR does NOT have most options affect their GVWR. AC, power
windows, power seats, luxury package, 4x4, etc, etc, etc....but....some options
does. Like their HD option...like the F150HD option that begets 7 lug wheels instead
of the 6 lug wheels of the regular half tons
Now those AC/power/etc options do affect the cargo/payload number. The
GVWR stays the same and the curb stays the same...
It is just a guessing game trying to find out...even when folks say the leaf
spring pack is the same, or that the hangers are the same, etc, etc...it boils
down to what your OEM listed it as and is on the door sticker/VIN/etc
